Modeled after vintage European tea spoons and their thoughtful attention to detail, our scoop has a slightly arched handle that makes it easy to reach into tea tins and pouches (or coffee!).ย
The scoop itself is a delightful heart-shaped cradle; however, the gentle pointed tip and the rounded curves aren't just pretty but practical in helping get those last bits of product from the container. It really is the perfect heart shaped teaspoon!
A flat scoop will contain approx. 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea (perfect for a cup/mug of tea); a heaping scoop would make approximate 2-3 cups.

Made in Oregon with 100% Lead-Free Pewter. Completely food safe. Approx 2in wide x 5.75 in long.
Care Instructions:
- Handwash only. While technically dishwasher safe, detergents are now so harsh we recommend handwashing to keep your cherished spoon in good condition.
- Can be used in boiling water (for example to stir in honey in a hot beverage). However, it is possible to bend your spoon so do not use to scoop hard items (like frozen ice cream).
- Pewter will not tarnish, but over time it will patina, or darken in color. We think this adds some charm, but if you want there are lots of pewter polishes available.

I absolutely love how this spoon is designed. It fits perfectly in the Plum Deluxe tea bags and nothing falls off when you take the spoon out of the bag. I bought several to give as gifts for Christmas along with a variety of delicious teas.

When I first seen this spoon I just knew I would have to have it. By the second order for tea I could not hold off any longer and ordered it. I was so absolutely thrilled and impressed when it arrived! This spoon is not only beautiful but it is a much heavier weight than many teaspoons out there. This spoon is not going to bend and start looking horrible. It is so convenient for getting every last bit of good out of the tea pouches.
