The thing I appreciate about John is their creativity. We both were wanting to feature a green (rooibos) tea this month, since we carefully source those greens from smaller farms in China and Japan; this green is from China, the green rooibos from South Africa.
The flavor profile is lemon blueberry; it reminds me of enjoying a healthy breakfast muffin while soaking up the morning sunshine, a nourishing treat to get your day started. The green rooibos also provides a grounding energy and moderates the caffeine level (for those of you getting the caffeinated version).

BREWING TIPS:
For more of the lemon and blueberry notes, add a drop of tea sugar or a small amount of honey. Be mindful not to use boiling water on the green tea; this would be lovely iced also.

I'm allergic to sunshine, but I LOVE this tea n both its forms. The flavor is bright and cheerful, but I also really like that the blends contains enough raspberry leaf to make a positive difference in my monthly fight against my uterus.

This is the perfect lemon tea! The lemon is very present but not bossy. The blueberry is well defined. And... maybe that slight creme note comes from the rooibos? Either way- it keeps the green tea in check. I have a low tolerance for hibiscus, but it's very well behaved here. I absolutely love this tea!
