When I prepare for a dinner party, one of the foods that is always in the game plan is a flavorful chicken wing. Chicken wings are quite possibly the perfect party food. Though they’re not always seen as elegant, a properly prepared chicken wing can deliver deluxe flavor and simple pleasures to your next party table.
Below you'll find a pair of recipes for some (plum) deluxe dinner party chicken wings - one sweet, one spicy, both guaranteed to be conversation starters.
Savory Pomegranate Vinaigrette Chicken Wings
- 1 package party wings (about 20 pieces)
- 1 cup Hidden Valley Farmhouse Originals Pomegranate Vinaigrette
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 1/2 tablespoon thyme
- 1 cup Italian panko-style bread crumbs.
Combine all ingredients except bread crumbs in a zip-top bag and marinate for at least 2 hours (better if you can prepare these earlier and leave them overnight).
When you’re ready to cook, preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
In a separate zip-top bag, add the bread crumbs and coat each chicken wing thoroughly.
Bake for 45 minutes on a foil-lined baking sheet that has been sprayed with cooking oil.
