NOTE: In Italy, a traditional macchiato is a small espresso with a dollop of foamed milk on top. In America, macchiato is a shot of espresso topped with a layer of steamed milk and a drizzle of flavoring syrup, often caramel or vanilla.

 

Dirty Chai Caramel Macchiato

Ingredients:

Directions:
  1. Add both the Dirty Chai and The Full Moon Chai into a tea filter bag.
  2. Steep for 5 min in boiling water- let cool if making iced or you can always cold brew it the night before - for cold brew, strongly recommend a full 12 cold infusion.
  3. Drizzle glass with caramel, dust rim with cinnamon sugar
  4. Add tea to glass with caramel drizzle top with a splash of milk and more caramel if desired
